2.4.3 WHAT TO DO AS A DEALERSHIP IF I WANT TO CHANGE THE TAVASCAN TEST DRIVE AVAILABILITY DATES

A situation might arise in which a dealership wants to change the dates on which it is offering Tavascan test drive availability, whether that be because the programme is hugely popular with the public or because a vehicle fault has meant it was not possible to maximise the number of bookings made.

The CUPRA Master does not have permission during the pilot programme to change the test drive service availability dates from the ranges set for the initial project because any unilateral change that does not consider the other roadshow dealerships could lead to overbooking.

In order to prevent two different users booking the same Tavascan vehicle (chassis #) on the same date and time at two different dealerships (double bookings), which would cause frustration among end users/customers, the only person with the necessary permission to change this data field is the importer/market administrator.

Dealerships should contact the importer (click here to see a list of contact details) to ask them to not only change the service date range for the dealership in question but also the service availability date range at the other dealerships in the chain that see the date range availability they can offer to their customers either shortened or extended.

Once the Tavascan pilot programme is finished, the system will allow dealerships to make these changes themselves because their actions will not be subject to a roadshow with vehicle rotation that affects other dealerships.
